Tai Chi on the Great Wall

The Great Wall, like the Forbidden City, is on the checklist of “things you must see at least once if you go to China.” It was our destination after lunch. During the bus ride to the Great Wall, we listened to a healing meditation from Touched by the Tao. It was a great way to relax and center ourselves.

We took the cable car to top (four of us even got to ride in the one that carried former US President Bill Clinton during his visit to China a few years ago.) The weather was pretty clear, so we were able to enjoy the view. When we got off the cable car, we saw an international exchange group dancing at top of wall. Our group performed an impromptu Tai Chi demonstration.
